Getting Started
The name NextArrow is inspired by an ancient parable called “The Second Arrow.” In life and work, we’re inevitably hit by a first arrow — like change, conflict, failure, or uncertainty. That pain is unavoidable.
The second arrow is our reaction: the negative stories we tell ourselves, the resistance we add, and the unnecessary suffering we create. At NextArrow, we help people recognize that moment and choose a better response, rooted in skill, clarity, and courage. In other words, we help leaders pause before the second arrow and choose what comes next with intention.
Our work isn’t only about responding after something goes wrong. Much of what we do is about helping people prepare in advance — building the skills, mindsets, and habits that make the first arrow less destabilizing and the next arrow more intentional.
We see courage as the foundation of meaningful progress. From Aristotle to Hemingway, thinkers have described courage as essential to human growth. Without it, insight stays theoretical and learning stays on the page.
With courage, people act on what they’ve learned: they have difficult conversations, challenge assumptions, try new approaches, and follow through under pressure. Simply put, courage is the bridge between knowing and doing.
That’s why courage isn’t just a theme for us. It’s a core part of how we help individuals and teams learn, grow, and perform at their best.
Most L&D programs are either engaging or practical. We’re built to be both.
Our live, research-backed workshops (https://www.nextarrow.org/workshops)and coaching sessions (https://www.nextarrow.org/leadershipcoaching)are highly interactive, grounded in behavioral science, energized by storytelling, and designed around your real work challenges, so insight turns into action immediately.
We design for behavior change, not just inspiration. That means shared language that shows up in meetings, tools managers can use the next day, and reinforcement options that ensure the learning sticks.
We take learning seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. That combination of rigor and playfulness creates psychological safety, energy, and buy-in, so employees want to show up and leaders see meaningful impact.
If you’re looking for non-corporate training that's tailored, practical, and built to last, you’re in the right place!
